Safety relay unit
A safety relay unit is a unit that contains circuits used for electrical safety control of machines, such as emergency stops and interlocks for safety fences.
■Compatible up to safety category 4 based on EN ISO 13849-1. *Some products may only support up to safety category 3. ■The main unit is mounted on a DIN rail (35mm width). ■A polyswitch is used as the power fuse, so unlike glass tube fuses, replacement is not necessary. ■The output contacts are duplicated, and it checks that all relays are off at the time of unit startup. All relays used internally are forced-guided safety relays. ■It has obtained type certification from safety-related specialized organizations for the European standard (EN) 'CE marking' and the North American 'UL standard'. ■It is equipped with two input circuits to allow for redundancy in emergency stop functions. ■There is an edge detection function for the reset switch, allowing the reset switch to trigger the unit to start from OFF to ON as needed.
